Our Firefighters and paramedics dedicate their time to protecting the lives and property of the citizens of the Mid County Fire Protection District. Our first responders go through rigorous training in order to make sure they can perform to the standards required under the stressful situations they encounter. A Firefighter’s job is one of service and duty to the community they have sworn to protect.

Joining a Fire Department requires dedication to learning the art of providing care to the community in many different ways under different circumstances. Firefighters provide talks to children and adults on life safety, fire safety and the everyday life of a firefighter. They provide care to people when they are having their worst day or their loved one’s worst day. Firefighters are there to provide help in emergency situations when there is no one else who can.

The life of a firefighter can be extremely rewarding and exciting. Firefighters become part of a family that is there with them to share in life’s times.
